A greater love

From serving tea and cakes to working with prisoners, everything Mothers’ Union members in the UK and Ireland do is an act of healing to restore broken relationships in communities.

Last year, refugee children fleeing conflict and persecution in their home countries faced a terrifying ordeal to reach the Mediterranean. In contrast to widespread and growing hostility towards refugees, our members in Ireland reached out to them in love. They knitted teddies that were delivered by the Irish Navy to offer some comfort to scared and traumatised children.

You can give members in the UK and Ireland the resources and support they need to fulfil a ministry of peace and reconciliation.
